Callan Athletic and Academic Expansion
01 Challenge
BHDP partnered with Cedarville University to execute a new building addition to the Callan Athletic Center as part of their 10-year campus master plan. Callan is also an academic facility and is home to the university’s School of Allied Health which required space to allow for future growth.
02 Solution
Focused on the needs of athletes and team development, the first floor includes a new varsity weight room, a 2000-SF team room, and expanded athletic department offices. The second story creates additional classrooms, lab space, and offices for the school's healthcare professional programs, including the new Physician Assistant Program.

With a dedicated team aligned to one project vision, this fast-track project was completed within an eight-month construction period. The transformation of the Callan Athletic Center benefits allied health majors, athletes, athletics staff, and the entire campus.
New Team Room
The team room provides an environment for group activities, informal bonding, and social interaction for student-athletes and pre-game patron events. The flexible and branded environment is engaging and will create tremendous impact on student-athlete development.
