NYC Office Renovation
01 Challenge
Fifth Third Bank tasked BHDP with a renovation of their new office located at 50 Rockefeller Plaza. A main design challenge was preserving the building's iconic architecture. Simultaneously, the team aimed to seamlessly integrate Fifth Third's brand identity into the space and establish a connection with the local community. This multifaceted approach ensured the renovated office pays homage to the building's historic significance and reflects the bank's identity.
02 Solution
Drawing from the Art Deco aesthetic of Rockefeller Center, our team weaved intricate patterning, bold shapes, metalwork, and regional themes into the space. While much of the color palette and materials reverberate Fifth Third’s brand, the juxtaposition of soft and bold contrast colors, gold and brick detailing, and decorative lighting amplify the building’s history.
