01 Challenge

University Hall is a dynamic facility housing the offices of several high-impact university programs that define the BGSU undergraduate experience, such as Pre-Professional Programs, Learning Communities Office, the Center for Undergraduate Research, and the Center for Excellence in Science and Mathematics Education: Opportunities for Success (COSMOS). BGSU tasked BHDP with renovating the building to create a 21st-century learning environment.  

02 Solution

The Office of Admissions was relocated to University Hall as part of the renovations, creating an engaging and impressive first experience for prospective students. The facility also includes six cutting-edge classrooms that service the entire campus, illustrating the latest benchmarks in flexible and adaptable active learning environments. As a gesture to the historic building, built in 1915, the updated facility boasts an impressive new entry on the west face of the building near the campus quadrangle.
