Cincinnati Children's Hospital announced plans to open a new Applied Gene and Cell Therapy Center in Sharonville, OH. This significant investment will advance clinical trials for pediatric patients with blood diseases, cancer, and genetic disorders.

The center will repurpose a 111,000-SF facility on a 14.6-acre site and double as a distribution hub for the hospital's operations across the Tri-State area.

Renovations are expected to commence in June and are targeted for completion by next summer. The center is expected to generate around 100 jobs in the Sharonville area, including newly created positions for biologists, quality assurance specialists, and support staff.

BHDP Architecture is proud to contribute to this vital project, which supports Cincinnati Children's ongoing commitment to pediatric research and regional development. This commitment reflects their dedication to improving outcomes for children and families facing complex medical conditions and addresses the urgent need for expanded research in this field, given the global prevalence of pediatric health challenges.
