VEGA Americas' North American headquarters in Mason, OH, is set to double in size
VEGA Americas Inc. is set to double the size of its North American headquarters located in Mason's Research & Development Park with a $16 million expansion project. By adding 120,000 SF to its existing facility, VEGA will domestically produce electronic components, eliminating the need for overseas shipping and aligning with its corporate goal of carbon neutrality by 2033.
BHDP is excited to serve as the architect for this expansion project, which is expected to create 35 full-time jobs initially, with more positions to follow as production capacity grows. The groundbreaking is scheduled for the late first quarter of 2024, with completion expected by the third quarter of 2025.
Lynn Wyrick, a Lead Architect at BHDP, commented on the project, stating, "I am very excited to be working with this terrific client again. At BHDP, we pride ourselves on creating industrial spaces that not only meet the cutting-edge operational needs of our clients but also prioritize the well-being and productivity of the people who work in them. Our approach to designing for VEGA's expansion is rooted in our belief that the most successful and sustainable industrial facilities are designed with people in mind."
Our valued partnership with VEGA Americas embodies this approach as we work together to design a state-of-the-art facility that not only meets their manufacturing needs but also fosters a healthy and productive environment for their employees. By aligning with VEGA's vision for sustainable growth and innovation, we are not only supporting their business objectives but also contributing to the economic development and vitality of the community.
